This procedure can be used with patient requiring a few teeth to those requiring a full arch reconstruction. The patient initially is sent for a cone beam ct scan of the jaw. This CT scan is a low dose scan and produces files through the jaw.

These files are then reconstructed on our software producing a 3-D image allowing our surgeon to place the dental implants with amazing accuracy. This information is then sent to Sweden where a stent is manufactured.

The stent is secured with pins in the mouth and the dental implants placed using this key hole procedure avoiding the need to cut the tissue to find the bone.

The information of were the dental implants have been planned can also be sent to the laboratory at the same time as sending the information to Sweden. A temporary bridge or even the final bridge can then be screwed onto the dental implants during the very same visit. This incredible concept means that our patient can come in our clinic and walk out in a hour with secured teeth! This is known as teeth-in-an-hour.

Profile

Dr Riz Syed qualified in 1999 at the Royal London Hospital. He worked in the Oral Maxillo-Facial surgical department at the Royal London Hospital. After leaving hospital he worked for a number of years in a specialist surgical practice.

He has established two large referral surgeries in the last for years. He lectures on all aspects of dentistry and is now a mentor for Nobel Biocare, helping new implant surgeons in all aspects of implant dentistry.

He works extensively with NobelGuide surgery and has been awarded the clinic of excellence in implant dentistry.

Dr syed has successfully completed extensive post graduate studies in both cosmetic and implant dentistry. He has trained extensively in both America and Europe on advanced hard and soft tissue management.

His practice also includes sinus grafting, ridge expansion and connective tissue grafting. He is also a visiting surgeon to numerous surgeries across London.

Dr Syed also provides Tooth Whitening, wrinkle Reduction and Facial Contouring.

He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI).
